Whenever there should be white text, it is instead gray.
Colored text appears correctly.

This is using iDeaS 1033/1034 Linux on Ubuntu Karmic.

Yeah, that's been a long-standing bug with the series...if you really need to see a bit of text, like it's super-important to the testimony, I've found that temporarily turning off bottom layers 1 and 2 (oddly enough, "bottom" layers affect the main screen, and "top" ones affect the touch screen) is enough to be able to read it, and you can turn 'em back on afterwards. It's not the perfect solution (sorry, Franziska!), but it's at least a temporary measure until the ones in-the-know on this forum can help...
